Trying to explain bullet journaling to my grandma went hilariously wrong

She thought it was a recipe book and started adding her own pie recipes. Now I have a section for desserts I never planned for, lol.

Honestly, just roll with it. My grandpa did the same with a car manual, called it his garage poetry. The key is to add a sticky note with the real title on the inside cover. That way they keep their fun system but you avoid future mix-ups.

That's honestly the best outcome when she thought it was a recipe book. Grandparents have a way of making any system their own. At least you've got a useful dessert section now.

How did she even get the idea it was a recipe book? That kind of mix-up seems impossible to me. My own grandma would ask a hundred questions before assuming something like that. Turning it into a dessert guide is actually pretty clever. I guess sometimes wrong guesses work out better. Still, the first thought being a recipe book is what gets me.
