I ignored email marketing for 2 years because I thought social media was enough, then one Tuesday changed my mind
I run a small landscaping company in Fort Worth and I always believed email was dead. Last Tuesday I sent out a simple email to 340 past customers about a fall cleanup deal, mostly just to test it. By Friday I had 22 replies and 11 booked jobs worth about $4,800 total. Meanwhile my Instagram post that same week got 3 likes from my mom and my cousin. My brother in law kept telling me for 2 years to build a list and I brushed him off every single time. Now I have a 12 email welcome sequence and a monthly newsletter, and email brings in more work than any social platform I use. Has anyone else made the switch from social to email, and how often do you actually hit send without annoying people?
