Small win: Fixed my landing page CTA after a week of tinkering
I spent 7 days rewriting one button copy on my SaaS landing page because the signup rate was flat at 2.3%. Turned out the old 'Start Free Trial' was too vague, and changing it to 'Get My Custom Report' bumped conversions to 4.1% in three days. Anyone else spend way too long on a single text tweak that actually paid off?

Read a study once that said changing one word in a headline boosted sales by 30%. Sounds crazy but your numbers prove it. "Start Free Trial" is pretty standard and forgettable. "Get My Custom Report" tells them exactly what they're getting and makes it personal. Most people just slap something up and never touch it again. Good on you for actually testing.

Hmm, I gotta push back on this one a bit. Honestly, changing one word to a more specific phrase sounds great in theory, but those gains might not stick for everyone. Most people don't click on "Get My Custom Report" thinking they're actually getting a custom report - it feels like a clickbait trick and can backfire when they see it's just a generic template. Tbh, "Start Free Trial" is boring but it's also honest and sets the right expectation. You can't build trust with flashy promises that don't match the real product.

Totally agree, seen the same thing testing button text myself. Small changes really do make a difference.
