Changed my mind on paying $180 for boots after a 9 hour day at a job site in Casper
I used to think cheap boots were fine as long as I swapped the insoles every few months. Then two winters back I stood in slush for 9 hours straight near Casper and my $60 pair soaked through by lunch, so I spent the rest of the day with cold feet and a bad attitude. I finally dropped $180 on a pair of Danners and they are still dry after 2 full seasons, which I honestly did not think was possible at that price difference. Anyone else here keep a cheap backup pair for yard work so the good ones last longer?
