PSA: that $8 can opener your grandma had? Mine lasted 41 years before the gear stripped.
Found the original receipt taped inside my late grandma's kitchen cabinet in Akron while cleaning it out in March, and the thing cost $7.99 back in 1983, which made me do the math and realize my $22 "lifetime" opener from a big box store died in 14 months, so what cheap kitchen tool out there actually goes the distance?
