Before and after on a cabinet face, 6 months apart
I refinished a customer's kitchen in Portland back in March, and stopped by last week to fix a hinge. The difference in the wood grain was wild. The old poly had ambered so bad that the maple looked like honey, and now it's pale and bright like it should be. That was the first time I really saw what a good sealer does over time, not just right after the job. How long do you tell people to wait before they judge a finish?
