Just realized retention offers only appear after you actually cancel
I spent 45 minutes on hold with my provider in Phoenix last month trying to get my bill lowered from $89 down to something sane, and they kept saying the system showed no promotions available. So I finally said fine, cancel it for next Friday, and suddenly they found a $35 package with double the speed plus free HBO Max for a year. Has anyone else noticed that the only real discounts happen when you're one foot out the door?
