I figured that out after getting lost in a big house.

Happens more than people think. River_dixon gets it, sometimes the messy sketch is the only map you've got. Real life isn't always clean blueprints.

Rough floor plans can be more trouble than they're worth... they often miss key details. In tight spots, that lack of info might make things worse. Just my two cents on why it's not a sure thing.

Seen that happen before... a rushed drawing once guided my team through a blackout. @bennett.harper doubts them, but sometimes those scribbles are all you need.
