I finally stopped buying cheap JIS screwdrivers off Amazon and it cost me a $180 repair
Stripped the heads on all four screws of a customer's Canon AE-1 last month. The $12 set I got off Amazon looked fine but the tips were soft as butter. Ordered a real Vessel 900 series for $28 and the screws came right out. If you work on Japanese cameras at all, just get the good ones from the start. What JIS set are you all running?
