The librarian in Toledo who pulled a book from my kid's hands in 2019 still bothers me
She glanced at the cover, put it back on the cart, and said "this one's not for you" without ever opening it, and I have wondered since whether she was protecting my son or just avoiding a complaint from somebody else.
