Shoutout to the hiring manager in Dayton who blacklisted me over a 2019 tweet about a sandwich
It took 14 months and 60 job applications before I found out that one joke about a deli turkey sub was flagged in a background check, so I want to know, does anyone else think a permanent ban over old food tweets is a bit much?
Background checks don't usually flag tweets, so that part sounds off. More likely someone at the company just googled you and decided the sandwich joke was a dealbreaker.
