Can we talk about canned chicken and the 3 meals I finally made with it?

I used to think canned chicken was only good for emergency sandwiches (bleh). Then last Tuesday I was out of fresh meat and grabbed a can on a whim. I made a buffalo chicken dip with a can of cream of mushroom soup and it was actually good. Then I threw it into a jar of salsa for tacos and it saved dinner. Has anyone else found a weird trick for canned chicken that actually works?

Cream of mushroom? Buffalo dip usually uses cream cheese.

Nah, sorry @nguyen.blake but you're wrong here. Cream of mushroom soup is way better than cream cheese for buffalo dip because it gives you that savory mushroom base that cuts through the hot sauce. Cream cheese just makes it greasy and one-note, all richness with no balance. I've made it both ways and the mushroom version stays creamy longer without getting that weird separated look after it sits out. Plus the soup has seasoning already built in so you don't have to mess with extra salt or garlic powder. Cream cheese dips always end up tasting like cold brick chunks if you don't nuke them perfect every time.
