Hot take: switching from 16oz to 22oz hammers made my framing slower, not faster
Swapped my 16oz Vaughn for a 22oz Stiletto about 8 months back because every guy on the crew swore the heavier head meant fewer swings. First month my shoulder was killing me and my production dropped from around 14 walls a day to 11. Now I'm used to it and I'm back up to 13 or so, so I'm basically at the same place I started but with a sore arm. Half the guys say I just need more time, the other half say go back light and swing faster. What did you guys land on after actually tracking your output instead of just going by feel?
