PSA: That $250 self-leveling laser level was a complete waste of my money
I bought a fancy rotary laser level last spring for a basement remodel, figured it would save me time on layout. The thing spent more time recalibrating itself in my Milwaukee packout than actually helping, and I still ended up pulling out my old bubble level for every critical line. I lost about $250 and two full mornings fighting the setup, so has anyone else ditched the high-tech gear for the simple stuff on interior work?
