Sawdust pile at that Iowa barn raising changed my mind about dust collection
I stopped by an Amish crew's framing job near Kalona last month and noticed they just let the sawdust fall wherever, no vacs at all. Watching them work clean and fast without all that gear made me realize I've been overcomplicating my own setup, so I'm trying a simpler approach on my next two jobs. Has anyone else ditched their dust collector after seeing how the old-timers manage it?
