Wrote off that cheap laser level from the tool tent at the county fair, but it held dead on across 22 feet
Picked it up for $18 in Hutchinson mostly to prove a point to my helper, then it matched my old rotary to within a 16th over a full deck frame, so now I'm stuck wondering what I actually got for the other $180.

Curious what the beam looks like at 22 feet, was it still a tight line or did it start to spread out into a fat blob? And did you check it on a wall both directions, like shoot one way then spin it 180 and see if it lands back on the same mark? My worry with the cheap ones is the self leveling goes screwy after it rides around in a truck bed for a month. Keep us posted if it's still holding after some real use.
