My barber in Tucson stopped taking cash last April and now every haircut feels like a data deal
He put up a little sign saying card only back in April, and now the tablet asks me for a tip, an email, and my phone number before I can even sit down. I used to hand him a $20, get $5 back, and that was the whole thing, no record of me anywhere. When did paying for a basic service start coming with a profile attached to it?
