Question about the $340 sublet deposit I lost at a Brooklyn open house
Showed up to a place on Bedford Ave with 14 other people, and when the guy said cash only for the deposit I handed over $340, then watched him stop answering texts by that night, so how do you screen a sublet listing without paying a rando upfront?
