Found out a Bridgeport mill from 1952 still holds tighter tolerance than my 2019 import table
Saw a guy on YouTube tram a worn old Bridgeport in his garage in Akron and it cut a 0.0005 inch step on a test block while my import table wandered closer to 0.002, which made me wonder if anyone here has measured their own machine against a scraped-in old iron one.
