That $60 hand grinder turned out to be a trap
Bought a cheap ceramic burr grinder for camping trips last spring, thought it was a steal but it made my beans taste like dust after a month. Anybody else burned by budget grinders, or is there a decent one under $100 that actually holds up?

Dust after a month? That's brutal, man. Ceramic burrs are supposed to last way longer than that, even the cheap ones. I've seen them crack or get dull but turning your beans into powder that fast is a whole new level of fail. Makes me wonder if they used something other than ceramic in the middle, like plastic pretending to be stone.
