A guy at my LCS in Portland told me I was reading Hickman wrong and it fixed 4 issues for me
I kept bouncing off his X-Men run because I was speed reading for plot, but when he said 'slow down and treat every data page like a panel' I tried it on issue 6 and suddenly the whole thing clicked, so now I want to know: which runs did you have to change HOW you read before they worked?

A buddy of mine had the same thing with Morrison's Doom Patrol, said you have to just go with the weird instead of trying to make it make sense. Also heard Sandman reads way better if you treat each issue like a short story instead of one long arc.
