My LCS guy in Fresno told me he doesn't read the books anymore, and it's been bugging me for two weeks
Stopped in to grab my pull list and he mentioned he hasn't read a single floppy since 2019, just scans covers and order sheets now. Said he sells more trades and Funko pops than singles, so why bother. I get the business side, but a shop owner who stopped reading feels like a barber with a bad haircut, and I can't shake it. Anyone else notice their shop guy checked out, or is this just a Fresno thing?
