Skipped the Wednesday pull list for years, and a guy at the register in Akron flipped my view
I stopped buying single issues around 2016 because I thought waiting month to month was a waste, and trades were the smarter buy. Then a guy at my shop in Akron told me he grabbed the first 3 issues of a new horror book on release day because the shop only ordered 8 copies and the series got hot by issue 2. That got me thinking about how the monthly run is part of the hobby, not just a slow way to read the same story. How many of you still buy issue by issue instead of waiting for the collection?

The monthly run is part of the hobby" is real, my buddy missed issue 2 of a hot indie book and paid triple for it later.
