Vent: I stopped going to comic cons because of how other fans act now...
I used to love going to MCCC in Detroit back around 2010. People were just there to talk about books and find back issues. Now every con feels like a flea market for Funko pops and people recording themselves for views. Had this guy in line last year loudly telling his friend how he was gonna flip a signed book for triple the price before he even got it signed. Kinda killed the whole vibe for me. Anyone else just stay home now?

Sounded like that guy was ready to start a podcast before he even got the book signed lol. Reminds me of the time I was at a con and some dude was livestreaming himself "unboxing" a mystery box he literally just bought two booths over. Like congrats buddy, you pulled a common variant, very cool. I just stood there cringing in line holding my beat-up old comic like a relic from a better time.

Unboxing" a mystery box from two booths over sounds about right, I once watched a guy narrate his own bathroom break at a con, mic and all.
