I was at a buddy's shop over on Camp Bowie last Friday picking up a power supply when he took a no-post Dell, pulled the board, and hit the GPU with a heat gun at 380C for 30 seconds. Thing booted right up and he charged the guy $95. I've been quoting full board replacements this whole time, so now I'm wondering how many of those I could've saved. Any of you doing reflows as a standard first step, or is that asking for a comeback in 3 months?
