Spent $150 on a used bull float and it paid for itself in one driveway pour
Grabbed a beat-up magnesium bull float off Facebook Marketplace and after a quick handle swap it's finishing smoother than my old wood one ever did. Anybody else find good deals on used tools that just needed a little TLC?

Picked up a used saw once that looked like it survived a war zone. Cleaned the carb and it ran better than my buddy's new one.

My neighbor found an old Craftsman table saw at a garage sale for forty bucks. The thing was rusty and the fence was crooked, but he spent a weekend fixing it up. Now it cuts straighter than the new Ryobi I just bought from Home Depot.
