Switched from wet curing to curing compound on a big slab last week

I always used wet burlap and plastic for my driveways, but tried a spray-on curing compound on a 30x40 shop floor. The finish came out way more uniform and I didn't have to babysit it every 4 hours. Has anyone else made that switch and noticed a difference in surface hardness?

oh man, i tried that curing compound stuff once and it worked great until it didn't. like yeah the surface was hard and even but then i had to grind the whole thing just to get paint to stick lmao. plus i accidentally sprayed it on too thick in one corner and it peeled off like a sunburn. wet burlap is a pain but at least you don't end up with a weird plastic layer that fights back.

Oh man, did your curing compound turn into a nightmare fish scale situation too? My friend Jen tried that stuff on a garage floor and ended up with this weird orange peel texture that looked like she'd hosed it down with old lacquer. She spent basically a whole Saturday with a heat gun scraping the worst bubbles off, and even after all that work the paint still blistered up in the corners after a year. Honestly I'd rather deal with damp burlap smell than fight a plastic skin that acts like it owns the place lol.
