Unpopular opinion: power trowel blades aint worth the fancy brands after using a $90 set on a 12,000 sq ft slab in Tulsa last month
I ran those cheap blades from the local hardware store on a commercial garage floor and they burned out by the third pass, meanwhile my buddy's $240 set from the distributor is still going strong after 5 jobs, so has anyone else found the cheap route is just false economy or am I the only one who got burned?

False economy" is a fancy way of saying you paid twice, huh... I bought the cheap ones once and spent more on beer to drown the regret than the good set would've cost. Sounds like your buddy's $240 is just the price of not cussing at your own floor for five jobs straight.

Yeah, used to swear by the cheap stuff. This makes sense though.
