Lost $120 on a 'chemtrail detector' from a shady online store

Back in March I ordered this handheld device that supposedly measured atmospheric particles to prove or disprove chemtrails. The site looked legit with specs and reviews, but what showed up was a cheap air quality monitor you can find for $25 on AliExpress. Customer service stopped replying after my second email, and my bank wouldn't reverse it since it was a debit card. Has anyone else gotten burned by these fake conspiracy testing gadgets, and do you know a real lab that tests for particulate matter affordably?

Man that stinks, and it's the same play I keep seeing over and over. There's a whole mini economy built on selling junk to people who are scared or curious, from "5G blockers" to "EMF pendants" to those little water testers that turn any tap water black. The scam works because the product sounds sciency and the reviews are all fake, so you can't tell until it shows up at your door. The real kicker is the debit card thing, because those protections are way weaker than credit and these sellers know it. For actual particle testing you want a local university lab that does air quality work, or an EPA certified testing outfit, since a handheld toy isn't going to give you numbers anyone would trust, lol.
