Saw the same "shutdown drill" pop up on 3 different forums this month, all posted within 48 hours
Last month I started keeping a note on my phone every time I see a post here pushing a certain story about a fake power grid drill, and on March 14 I found the exact same wording on two other sites, posted 40 hours apart. The accounts were made the same week, no post history, and they all replied to each other like it was a real back and forth. I tried to ask one of them where they got the source and my comment got deleted within an hour. Is anyone else tracking patterns like this or am I reading too much into it?

Noticed something like this a couple years back with a different topic, some story about a fake water shortage in a small town. Same deal, a handful of accounts all joined around the same time, all posting the same talking points, and they'd quote each other like they were old friends. What tipped me off was the timing, every post landed between 9 and 11 in the morning on weekdays, like someone was doing it as part of a work shift. I saved screenshots for a few weeks and then the whole thing just went quiet, accounts stopped posting, some got deleted. Made me wonder if someone was testing something or just messing around for fun. Did the wording on those posts have any little quirks, like the same typo or weird phrasing that kept showing up?
