Spent 6 months calling my brother a sheep for believing moon landing clips, then I watched one myself at 2am
My brother and I argue about conspiracies every Thanksgiving in my mom's kitchen in Akron, and he keeps sending me moon landing video breakdowns that I delete without watching. Last month I finally clicked one at 2am just to have ammo to mock him, and the guy walked frame by frame through the same footage I had seen 100 times in school. I sat there for 40 minutes and realized I never actually checked any of my own beliefs, I just collected comebacks. Now I'm the one sending my brother links at midnight and he thinks it's hilarious. Has anyone else flipped sides on something after actually watching the thing they were arguing against?
