The debate over whether the moon landing was faked or real keeps me up at night
I spent 3 hours last week watching grainy NASA footage and arguing with a coworker who swears the flag waving proves it was staged. Which side has more solid evidence without going down rabbit holes?

HOLD ON. You're telling me that flag waving thing is still being used as actual evidence? I thought we debunked that back in like 2005. The flag has a horizontal rod in the top hem to make it stick out - you can literally see the astronauts twisting the pole to plant it. That's what makes it ripple like that, no wind needed.

The whole "flapping in the wind" thing was the first moon landing myth I looked into years ago, and yeah, that rod is clearly visible in the footage if you actually watch it instead of just looking at a still image. It's wild how one blurry photo can fuel decades of arguments.
