Overheard a PM in Tucson say weather delays are a 'soft skill' problem
Was grabbing coffee near the UA campus job site last week and heard this project manager tell a newer guy that chasing lost days is less about the forecast and more about who talks to the subs first. He said 60 percent of their rain delays turned into 2 week pileups just because nobody called the concrete crew before 6 a.m. Made me think about how I schedule my own crews back in Phoenix. Do you folks have a rule for how early you loop in trade partners when the radar looks rough?
