That $90 laser level from Amazon was a total joke on a real job site
I bought one of those cheap green laser levels to do baseboard trim across a 2800 sq ft remodel. Worked fine in my garage for 2 days. Got on site, sunlight hit the wall, and I could barely see the line beyond 8 feet. Wasted a whole morning marking things by hand after the batteries died in 45 minutes. Had to rent a proper rotating laser for $65 a day from Home Depot just to finish on schedule. The cheap one is now a paperweight. Anyone else get burned by budget tools when they actually mattered?
