A $15 tube of barrier cream cut my foil irritation cases by half, and nobody at my salon wanted to hear it
I pulled up the board stats last month and 9 of my 14 foil clients were coming back with redness along the hairline, which we all just chalked up to sensitive skin. I started applying a cheap barrier cream from Sally's before every foil service and 7 of those 9 had zero irritation on the next visit. Am I crazy for thinking we should all be doing this instead of blaming the developer every single time?
