A salon owner in Reno made me question every gloss service I've done
Tbh I went to a class last month where she showed her clients' before and afters, and she barely used any toner. She said most of us over-process just to hit a shade chart. I've been doing 20 minute glosses for years, now I'm cutting them to 8 and mixing custom shades. Anyone else rethink their timing after watching someone else's work?

The 8 minute thing sounds crazy at first, but honestly it makes sense. I started timing my glosses way shorter after a similar wake up call, and my clients actually look more natural now. You just gotta trust that less sitting time doesnt mean less payoff.
