My mentor told me to stop using biosilk on every client

Honestly, my first boss swore by biosilk for everything. Tbh, a client came back with buildup so bad I had to clarify her hair 3 times. Has anyone else had a product fail on them that was supposed to be a holy grail?

My sister used biosilk on my niece's hair for years and it took like 4 washes to get all the gunk out. She finally switched to a cheap shampoo from the grocery store and her hair looked way better. Guess expensive doesn't always mean better, right?

Hate when that happens... it's like you're paying more to have your hair feel worse somehow. Glad she figured out what actually worked for her kid though.

yo did yall hear about that study that said biosilk can actually cause more buildup over time than regular silicones? its wild cause so many stylists still swear by it. i stopped using it after reading that and switched to something lighter.
