Isn't it wild how the same principle applies to almost everything? You spend time and effort getting something just right and then the world fights to undo it. It's like maintaining a lawn or keeping your car clean, you put in all that work and then nature or time just chips away at it until you have to start over.

Totally feel you on this, @christopherh79. My blonde clients always seem to complain about that brassiness hitting way faster than the brunettes I work with. It's like the color just decides to fade after a few washes, even with good shampoo. I had one lady last month who went from cool platinum to warm yellow in like, two weeks, and she was so mad.
