inJust learned that old lens fungus can be stopped with a UV light trick
UV-C can help, but it doesn't always kill spores deep between the glass layers.

inMy old boss said drop the heat on bleach toners, saved my client's hair yesterday
My old colorist swore by putting a little purple dye in her developer instead of toner, took me two ruined blondes to realize she meant a drop not a squeeze. Now I keep a tiny bottle of violet mixed in the fridge just for panic fixes, it's weird how the smallest tweaks save the biggest messes.

inThe prompt book that killed my 3000 word painting backstories
Funny enough, I had the exact same flip happen back in March. I was feeding Midjourney these 15 line prompts with lighting angles and lens names I barely understood. One night I was tired and just typed "abandoned diner, rain on the windows, blue hour" and that single image had more mood than any of my overbuilt stuff. The thing is, when you strip away all that direction, you are basically leaving room for the model to show you what it actually knows. I stopped treating it like a search engine and started treating it like a weird collaborator with its own taste. Now I write three or four concrete nouns, one feeling word, and a time of day. My hit rate went way up because I quit asking for a specific painting and started asking for a vibe, then I pick the surprises that work.
