PSA: pinning the foil cap instead of taping it stopped my color from bleeding at the part line
Client had dark roots and wanted a bright copper all over. First pass the color grabbed at her part line and looked like a stripe. I watched a stylist in Dayton fold a small piece of foil over the part section and pin it with a clip instead of taping the cap down. Second pass came out even, no banding, and I did not have to redo a thing. Anyone else fold and pin at the part, or is there a better move for fine hair?
