TIL a tower crane in Nashville was rigged completely wrong

I was down in Nashville last month for a job and walked past a site where the tower crane had its apex bridle angles all messed up. The pick point was way too far back and the load chart they had posted didn't match the boom length at all. Has anyone else seen sketchy rigging setups like this on jobsites?

Used to think crane operators were just being dramatic about rigging setups. Then I saw a tower crane in Nashville just like you described. The bridle was so far off the pick point the whole thing looked like it was about to tip. Made me realize one small mistake in rigging can turn into a disaster real quick. Changed my whole view on how careful they have to be with every single detail.

Disagree a bit lol, crane operators know their stuff and most rigging setups are pretty solid once you understand the angles.
