A cashier in Tulsa slipped me her own soup recipe after I asked about the clearance squash

Watched my buddy get the best tip of his life at a hardware store register. He was buying a cheap shop vac and the old guy ringing him up asked what he was using it for. My buddy said cleaning his car, and the guy goes “skip the fancy attachments” and told him to tape a cut water bottle to the hose for tight spots. Saved him like $20 on parts and it actually works great. Guy even drew a little diagram on his receipt. Small town checkout folks are a different breed lol.

The screenshot everyone passed around is the whole problem. Context gets cut and the joke becomes the crime.

There's a third option here that nobody ever talks about. People treat boycotts like a yes or no switch, but the real power is usually in the scale and the timing. One person quietly buying less forever can do more than twenty people loudly buying none for a month then going right back. Your sister might be mad less about the choice and more about what it says when family doesn't line up on these things. Which is a whole different problem than the boycott itself.
