Question about how I write prompts now vs 2 years ago after a workshop in Austin
Two years ago at a writing group in Austin I was writing these 3 page prompt novels, and now my best stuff comes from a single sentence with one weird rule. Anyone else make that switch, or am I just getting lazier with age?
The "single sentence with one weird rule" thing is so real. I went from writing these long setup docs to just dropping a line and a weird rule like "describe it like you're mad at it" and that got way more out of the model. You're not getting lazy, you just figured out the robot doesn't need the warmup act.
