Hit 100 blocked phishing attempts in my email last month
I finally reached 100 blocked phishing attempts in my personal Gmail last month. Most were those fake "your package is delayed" emails from what looked like FedEx but came from some weird domain. It made me realize how many of these I used to almost click before I started actually checking the sender address. Has anyone else noticed a big spike in these lately?

The biggest thing that helped me was hovering over every link before clicking even on emails that look legit. Do you use a password manager to autofill logins on sketchy sites?

My cousin actually fell for one of those fake FedEx emails last year and it was a nightmare sorting out his bank stuff. He was so embarrassed about it too and I felt terrible for him. Password managers are a lifesaver honestly because they won't autofill on sites that look even a little off. I use Bitwarden but there are plenty of good free ones out there. The hovering thing is smart though I'm guilty of just clicking sometimes when I'm in a hurry.
