Passwords in notes apps is not a hack, it's a disaster waiting for one breach
My cousin texted me yesterday, proud that she 'finally organized her accounts' by putting every single password in the Notes app on her iPhone. She even has them color coded by category. I tried to explain that if her Apple ID gets phished, the hacker gets her entire life in one swipe. She said she has Face ID so it's fine. I told her about a buddy of mine who lost access to his whole Google account last month because he reused a password from a sketchy giveaway site, and stored all his logins in a draft email. Within 2 hours they changed his bank info. She still thinks I'm paranoid. Has anyone else tried to convince people that password managers exist for a reason, or am I fighting a losing battle with the whole 'I'm not important enough to hack' crowd?

Hear you loud and clear, man. I've got the same stubborn relatives who think Face ID is some kind of magic shield, and it's exhausting trying to explain that one bad click can undo everything. You're not paranoid, you're just asking them to put one lock on a door instead of leaving it open, but some folks only learn the hard way. Keep pushing gently, though, because when it happens to them, they'll remember you tried.
