Wait, did you just stand there holding the handle like it was a dead body too? Because that was me last week with my dishwasher. Just frozen, staring at the silence like it owed me money.

Rolled my eyes a little at this, not gonna lie. I mean yeah, appliances break and it's annoying, but holding the handle like it's a dead body? I feel like that's a bit dramatic. We've all had a dishwasher or a fridge go silent on us and it's more of a "ugh, great, now I gotta deal with this" moment. Maybe it's just me being too practical, but I don't get the whole staring into the silence like it owes you money thing. Appliances die, you call a repair guy or buy a new one. It's not that deep.
