Finally matched with someone who actually reads profiles
Had to choose between two matches last week. One was super hot but clearly just swiped on everyone. Other girl mentioned liking the same obscure band from Milwaukee. Picked the band girl. We talked for 3 hours about a show we both went to in 2018. Crazy what happens when you actually look at bios.

Man I swear I read something just the other day about how most people swipe based on pictures alone... it was some study that said something like 90 percent of matches never even read the bio. That band thing is real though. When you find someone who actually knows that deep cut album from 2016 it hits different. You made the right call going with the band girl. A three hour conversation about a show is way better than staring at a pretty face that has nothing to say.

And then you end up with someone who actually gets the inside jokes from those old albums.
