Just realized I was sending the same opener to every match for 6 months

I was using a generic "hey how was your weekend" on every girl for like half a year until one called me out on it last Tuesday. She screenshotted my exact message from a friend's phone and asked if I just copy paste. Anyone else get humbled like that by a match?

Nah, I actually think copy pasting works fine if you do it right. The problem isn't the copy paste, it's that your line sucks. I used the same three openers for like two years and dated plenty. The key is picking something that feels natural and fits most profiles, not a generic "hey." Girls compare notes but most of them don't care that much if your message is actually good and not just a one word opener. The dog question gets old too when every guy says the same thing.
