Had 7 matches in 5 days back in March, all from the same app, and each one turned out to be either a bot, a catfish, or a guy asking for my CashApp within 3 messages. The weirdest one claimed to be a pilot based in Denver but sent a selfie with a clearly visible airline badge from a different company. Is it just me or does the ratio of fake profiles feel way worse since the new update? Anyone else track their dud counts to keep from losing it?
My buddy Rick matched with someone who swore she was a nurse, then she asked if he wanted to buy her a gift card to "verify he was serious". He checked her profile pic through Google reverse image search, and it was a stock photo from a medical supply website.
