That deleted reddit comment about the fast fashion factory changed my buying habits

I saw a screenshot of a removed post from a Bangladesh garment worker describing how a rush order for a $5 shirt meant they were working 18 hour shifts with no breaks. The next day I was scrolling and saw the original was gone, but that one image stuck with me and now I check all my clothes tags before buying. Has anyone else completely stopped shopping at a certain store after seeing something online that got scrubbed?

Watched a documentary about a similar thing once, it showed how returns end up in landfills too. Ngl, it actually made me stop buying from those huge online places that have everything. Tbh, I feel like by the time we see anything real about how our clothes get made, someone already scrubbed it from the internet. Honestly, the fact that the post got deleted is pretty telling to me, like they didn't want anyone else to see it. Now I just stick to thrift stores and local shops where I can actually ask questions.

Yeah, the whole 'post got deleted' thing is super sus. I once tried to find that documentary again too, like oh sure, it just poof vanished, must be my bad memory again. Guess I'll just keep buying my questionable sweaters from the local thrift like a normal person.
